Class Announcements ![]() Writing SOLThe Fifth grade Writing SOL has been rescheduled for March 11th and 17th. The students will take the multiple choice portion on Thursday, March 11th. The students will complete the writing prompt portion Wednesday, March 17th. We have been practicing a lot in school the past few weeks and the students are doing well. At home, the students can use the NCS Perspectives link to practice scoring some papers. They can also use the Grammar Monster and Study Island websites to practice. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns!

![]() StringsIn fifth grade students have the opportunity to participate in the Strings program. Mrs. Weathers is the Strings teacher for Henderson. My students will have strings on Thursdays. Students who are participating in Strings must remember to bring their instrument every Thursday.
![]() Reading HomeworkStudents are to be reading for 20 minutes every night. They are then to record the number of pages they read in their assignment book on the "book" image at the bottom of each day.
